Steps to Admissions

Complete Online Application

Complete the online application process. Please read the JFCA Admissions Policy. Application fees are non-refundable.

Online Application Includes the following:

  • Student Information Section
  • Recommendation Forms
    • Academic Reference
    • Spiritual Reference
    • Additional Adult Reference (Coach or Family Friend)
  • Documents to Upload
    • Recent Photo of the Student
    • Most Recent Standardized Test Scores (scores accepted: ITBS, CoGAT, PSAT, ERB)
    • Most Recent Report Card (if homeschooled, a summary of courses)
    • High School Transcript (if applicable)
Family Interview

Once we receive and review your child’s application and references, you will be contacted with an interview date/time with our admissions team. Family interviews include both parents and the student(s) applying.

Admissions Decisions

Our admissions team is ready to make decisions once the application is completed, including testing (if applicable) and family interviews. Acceptance decisions are made according to when an application is completed.

Enrollment

After receiving notice of the student’s acceptance, you will receive an email with the enrollment packet which must be completed within 10 days to secure the student’s spot. Registration fees are non-refundable.

The complete enrollment packet includes the following:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Recent Immunization Records
  • Insurance Card
  • Registration Fee:
    • K–8th: $575
    • 9th–12th: $625

Incoming Assessments

A student may be required to complete pre-assessments if they have not completed recent standardized testing. Kindergarten applicants will complete an in-person evaluation with a teacher. Eighth grade  applicants may require a pre-Algebra readiness assessment.

Early Admissions
  • Applications received by January 1
  • Admissions decisions released by March 1
Regular Admissions
  • Applications received by March 1
  • Admissions decisions released by May 3
Final Admissions
  • Applications received by July 1
  • Admissions decisions processed in three weeks following the family interview
